Thank you for your interest in a Burly-Murr Griffon!  We are always learning more and hope that you’re also doing your homework on the Griffon as there is much to know about this unique breed.  What drew us to the Griffon is their incredible hunting ability as well as their endearing and gentle nature.  We think our pups are pretty special, and we do our best to ensure that they are placed in special homes.  You can imagine that many hours go into the whelping of a litter -we care deeply for these pups and want to see them go to the best homes possible.  That’s number one.  We strive to place our pups in homes that will be loving and safe as well as appropriate to your needs and abilities. This is a 10-15 year commitment and none of us should take that lightly!  Please take your time answering this questionnaire - the more information you give us, the better we can do to match you up with a pup that will be the best fit for your home.  There are no right or wrong answers.

Note that *you will not be choosing a particular puppy.  Based on this questionnaire, we will make the best selection possible for you.  We encourage you to include any information that would help us in making this decision.

You may visit the pups after they have had their first round of vaccinations, which is usually around week 6.  We don’t mind at all if you visit, but know that we may not have made final decisions as to which pup will be going home with you.  Pups will be ready to go to their new homes on or after their 8 week birthday.

Once we have reviewed your questionnaire and if we determine that you would provide a good and loving home, we will place you on our list.  Once Scout has been bred, we will ask for a nonrefundable deposit (to be determined for this breeding).  We will go in order of deposits we receive first to honor preferences.  We’ve heard it said many times that it’s wise to “choose the litter, not the pup”; meaning that even if you’re 8th on the list, you certainly won’t be getting the bottom of the barrel!  We strive to breed quality into our dogs, and we aim to better the breed.  If you’re low on the list, we will do our best, but your pup may not embody all of your preferences.  You may choose to wait for the next litter if we aren’t able to meet your criteria.

We reserve the right not to sell to a particular buyer for any reason if we are unsure about the buyer’s ability to properly care for the pup.
